Teaching and Learning in a Catholic Community

This diverse group of children holding hands in a circle represents the eclectic group of students we teach and their individual strengths and weakness. The circle of peers also represents teachers and the variety of unique gifts we bring to our vocation. The church in the center is what should unify us in Catholic education today. Throughout this course, I have expanded my knowledge of the history and teachings of the Church and I truly feel that I have a stronger understanding and connection with my faith. It will and already has had a positive and powerful impact in my overall teaching and has replenished my enthusiasm, support, and purpose in a Catholic community.
